Cauda Equina Syndrome

Overview

Cauda equina syndrome is a rare but serious medical condition that occurs when the nerves at the bottom of the spinal cord become compressed.

Cauda equina syndrome (CES) is typically caused by compression of the nerve roots that make up the cauda equina.

Signs and Symptoms

There is no screening for Cauda Equina Syndrome.

Diagnosis
